Hey, done is better than perfect, right? But what if you could have both?
You wouldn’t perform your own root canal (I mean, I hope you wouldn’t). You’d hire a professional. Partially because like, it’s really hard to see into your own mouth, but mostly because a dentist knows what’s up. They’ve studied dentistry, they’ve practiced techniques, and they have the ability to give you that gas that makes everything seem super funny.
I might not be able to make everything seem super funny (though dang it I’m going to try!), but I am a professional. I’ve studied composition, taught composition, and even have a shiny Master’s Degree in Journalism and Public Relations. And those experiences have helped me become the copywriter I am today, but you know what’s helped me the most? Understanding what makes people tick. This makes me reeeeeeally good at selling them things. I’m a wordsmith and my work is the intersection of art and science. THAT is where the REALLY good stuff lives, my friends.
